Renee Gibson
Research Associate II
Renee graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Currently, she is working to understand the genetic regulatory elements that control adipocyte differentiation using genetic perturbations. With better understanding of adipocyte biology, the hope is to connect genetic variations to the development of metabolic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes and obesity.
In her free time, Renee enjoys cooking, exploring the city of Boston, going on hikes, and taking care of her plants.
