Yi Huang
Postdoctoral Associate
Yi obtained a B.S in Bioengineering in 2010 and a PhD in Molecular biology and Biochemistry in 2016 in Chongqing University, China. Currently, she is working both experimentally and computationally on the natural genetic variation screen as well as pooled high throughput CRISPR screen at the single cell resolution using variant-to-function (V2F) framework for metabolic diseases. Before joining Claussnitzer lab, Yi worked as a postdoctoral fellow studying the impact of maternal overnutrition on their offspring using single cell RNA-seq and other multiomic approaches at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Outside the lab, Yi is a singer and music mixer.
